How to Get Started with Jento Pro: A Complete Guide for Healthcare Professionals

Are you ready to take control of your healthcare career with flexible shifts that fit your lifestyle? Jento Pro makes it easy for healthcare professionals like you to find and pick up shifts seamlessly. Follow this simple guide to get set up and start working in no time!
Step 1: Download the Jento Pro App
First things first—get the app! You can download Jento Pro from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Prefer using a desktop? No worries! Visit our website and access the app link directly.
Step 2: Set Up Your Account
Once the app is installed, open it and create your account. This part is crucial—before you can start, you’ll need to:
✅ Review the Independent Contractor Agreement under your profile.
✅ Read and sign the agreement (this must be done to proceed with account setup).
Step 3: Upload Your Documents
To ensure you’re fully verified and ready to work, follow these steps:
Verify Your Identity
Go to Account Tab > Documents Tab.
Click on Personal ID Tab and complete identity verification through Stripe.
Upload Additional Required Documents
Physical Exam – Upload your most recent exam.
TB Test/X-ray – Provide proof of a recent test.
BLS/CPR Certification – Ensure your certification is valid.
Background Check – Check your email for a verification link from Checkr. If you have a recent background check (completed within the last 30-45 days), you can upload it manually.
License Verification
Upload your CNA, STNA, LPN, RN, or MED TECH license.
DCW Professionals – Upload your certification under "Required by Some Workplaces."
Step 4: Account Activation
Once your documents are uploaded, our onboarding team will review them. You’ll receive a text or email once your account is activated, and then you’re all set to start picking up shifts!
Step 5: Setting Up Payroll
Before you start working, make sure your payments are set up!
Go to Documents Tab > Payroll Tab.
Connect with Stripe to set up your payment account.
Payments will be processed after shift verification.
How to Pick Up Shifts
📅 Step 1: Browse Available Shifts
Head to the Explore Page.
Available shifts will be highlighted on the calendar.
Click on a date to see full shift details.
✅ Step 2: Apply for a Shift
Select a shift under My Shifts Tab.
Once applied, the shift will appear in the Applied Tab (highlighted in orange while waiting for approval).
Facilities must approve the shift before confirmation.
📩 Step 3: Shift Confirmation
Once approved, the shift moves to the Upcoming Tab.
You’ll receive a confirmation email (shift color turns green).
⏰ Step 4: Clocking In & Out
On the day of your shift, go to Upcoming Shifts Tab and clock in.
If you have trouble clocking in, print a paper timesheet (available under Documents Tab > Paper Timesheet).
After completing your shift, clock out, and the shift moves to the Completed Tab (shift color turns blue).
